Royal court roleplaying awaits you with Uneasy Lies the Head, a competitive, GMless roleplaying game. Plot and scheme as antagonistic members of a royal court. Embody titles to rule as the monarch, love as the paramour, wage war as the claimant, and more. Roleplay dramatic scenes and prepare divisive plans like spread rumors or propose decree, and bide your time until they unfold.

Play through the prologue to build the world and create your characters. Surround yourself with the assets that grant you your power, and steal assets from other players to stoke some drama and intrigue.

When the main event begins, take turns setting scenes and filling up the public record with plans that will resolve after a delay. When it's time to resolve a plan, each player will join in to leverage their assets and add dice to the pool. If you succeed with a make, things will go your way: you'll get to welcome new members to the court, pass new laws, spread rumors, or uncover your opponents secret plans. If the interference of your rivals causes you to mar, the plan blows up in your face. Either way, it's a great time.
