October 20th: The Locked Room Murder Mystery Game

The Locked Room Murder Mystery Game

Coming to Kickstarter October 20th!

In The Locked Room Murder Mystery Game, you'll tell a story of mystery, murder, rumors, and disgrace. Collaboratively create a bunch of characters, mix them up in a situation ripe for murder, and revel in the detective's investigation. Once the culprit is finally revealed, comb through the journal of clues to make sense of this impossible crime.

  • Turn-based gameplay makes each player an equal author
  • Board game inspired rules provide surprises at every turn
  • Plays great solo, with a large group, and anywhere in between

It's a hybrid between a board game and a GMless roleplaying game, and will come in a box that contains everything you need to play. Dry erase journal cards to track your suspects and clues, reference boards, playsets, and some nice wooden bits.

I've been working on this one for the past 3 years, ever since releasing the ashcan at PAX Unplugged in 2023.

See you next month!
